building a debian package

Hello there,
many thanks for the tips, Mikael. Unfortunately, I still can't get
Minisip to run. Here's my story:
- if I try and run minisip_gtkgui from
minisip/trunk/install/x86-pc-linux-gnu/usr/bin$, I get:
Starting MiniSIP GTK ... welcome!
Segmentation fault
- if I try and run ./run.minisip.sh I get:
export
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/libmutil/.libs:/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/libmnetutil/.libs:/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/libmikey/.libs:/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/libmsip/.libs:/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/libminisip/.libs:/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/minisip/minisip/.libs
./run.minisip.sh: line 28: minisip/minisip/gui/gtkgui/minisip_gtkgui: No
such file or directory
- and if I do ./build.pl run minisip I get:
run: libmutil libmcrypto libmnetutil libmikey libmsip libmstun
libminisip minisip
Running 'run'...
Starting MiniSIP GTK ... welcome!
system
/home/rdrs/src/minisip/trunk/install/x86-pc-linux-gnu/usr/bin/minisip_gtkgui
failed: 11 at ./build.pl line 427.
So, I decided on trying the debian package. So, after clearing my
repository, I tried to do ./build.pl package minisip, which exited
complaining of missing -dev libs. So I build each of the packages, and
installed them with dpkg. Well, libminisip, milbc, ministun and minisip
all built packages that had been already built... As you can imagine, my
debian package plan went down the drain..
It remains to be mentioned that I do see a small window popping up for
an instant - and then dying on me.
I'm at a loss to understand what I'm getting wrong - unless, that is,
the SVN HEAD is indeed segfaulting.
I'll throw in something that may or may not be related: my build of
wengophone also segfaults. I wonder if I have a broken lib on my system..
CHeers,
Renato
