problems in libmutil

The branches/stable is not really used ... we shall empty that branch
... it is misleading.

As for the build.pl, there is some info on the Documentation folder ...

You should, unless we announce to the contrary, base your work on the
trunk ... the one that is kept alive all the time. The stable branch
was a failed experiment.

As for the message you get ... it looks like you don't have the ltdl
library installed ... or cannot be found ... check the packages you
have (and install the -dev version of them).
