Hi everybody!

The title of my thesis project is "End-to-end security for mobile phones."

My plan is to reach this goal by porting Minisip, including the
encryption, to a mobile phone running the Symbian operating system. On a
recent phone that has a WLAN radio interface, it should be possible to
run secure VoIP over the Internet, fast and cheap.

I will also study the feasibility of running SIP traffic over GPRS/UMTS
and only power up the WLAN transmitter when there is an active phone call.
