Hi Werner,
Why GPL?
I thought it was agreed that libraries of minisip be LGPL ... it makes
more sense and we don't participate spreading the GPL nonsense. It
also makes your code more "usable" by integrators (and yes, i am
thinking of private companies who won't release their code, but still
they can use yours and participate in the "bug-finding").
