Sorry for the delay ... I will try to add all this material to the svn
for easier recovery.

PS - If sound is the only part missing to "support" maemo ... it is
pretty simple to develop suport for a new "soundcard", just creating a
new class and overwritting a few functions. Getting it right using the
soundcard API may take a while ... but it shall be possible.
