Greetings:
I've built svn trunk commit 2683 on OpenBSD 3.9 / Intel /
OSS audio; the biggest hurdles were porting libglademm
and libgnomemm first, and then tweaking the autoconf
process to generate useable Makefiles for minisip.
I did not fully patch the autoconf process but did so
only enough to get usable Makefiles which I then patched
to successfully compile each subproject.
Both the textui and gtkui versions segfault; please view the
various logs and diffs at:
http://www.cybertheque.org/sw/ports/OpenBSD/3.9/minisip
The gdb backtrace is in file 'minisip.debug'
In the past two months I have made builds of 'linphone',
'twinkle' and now 'minisip' on OpenBSD 3.9; only the
RTP libraries from the 'twinkle' project are useable
in making a full-duplex RTP softphone on this platform.
The command-line and gui versions of all of these
programs all fail in some way: 'linphone' gui works
but the audio is severely choppy and unintelligible,
'twinkle' has pthreads issues and audio only works
in one direction.
Feel free to follow the discussion threads in the
linphone and ccrtp mailing lists and the twinkle Yahoo
forum for details; the programs' authors probably don't
have the time or inclination to assist in remedying the
various issues with these ports. Search the archives for
OpenBSD; all hits will refer to my ports.
Since there is no working SIP softphone for OpenBSD,
your help in porting minisip would be of great benefit
to a user-base which is entirely unserved at the moment.
Much Thanks.
