I do know it has worked before for others; it probably won't take much
to fix it for you, but I do not know exactly where to start. I could put
a test server up that we could use to debug the problems; if you use
IRC, you might pop into #minisip on freenode and we can work on it.

Hurrah, another confessed gentoo user! I suppose I should commit my
ebuilds to the SVN tree and add overlay support to the build.pl script.
