Personally, I am talking about the build system because it is one of the
few things that I feel confident that I can contribute and bring
immediate value to the project. More generally, I am still catching up
on all of the various standards that have appeared since I last scoured
through RFCs and related standards documents.

As I become more familiar with the system, I will be moving deeper into
the system and initiating discussions on more pertinent matters. To find
the remaining bugs or add new features, one must understand the
development that has already been completed, and that poses a relatively
long and steep learning curve. While minisip does have great security, I
hope you agree that those features only add to the relative complexity
of understanding the code. :)

Since the project has not seen a release in ages, "building" has become
part of "using", so this topic involves users (for now). If you want to
participate (or lurk) in conversations about minisip's development, you
should subscribe to the minisip-devel list.
