ringtone usage ?

Hello,

Trying to have a ring back tone when minisip(textui)  is ringing the other
party, with the <ringtone> parameter in the configuration file, I put there
the path to a sample file never heard my sample... 
Didn't investigate much, but thought it would be faster to ask.

Is this option working ? 
What is the expecteed format for the sound file ?
